Challenge
The initial search area was broad – from coast to country - with Gerroa and Gerringong in the east, tracking through Berry and then up to the Southern Highlands. The budget too was constrained given significant uplift in prices since 2020.
Solution
There’s often a nuance to each locality, so being on the ground is essential. Nothing ruins country serenity like the sound of a speeding truck on a nearby highway under a certain wind. And local council building guidelines mean that grand designs can be stymied.

Hidden up a stunning tree lined driveway, the ultimate property is nestled in one of the highland’s most beautiful villages. But elevated to offer calming rural views over the top of extensive established gardens.
